Hello!

My name is Maya and I’m an artist based in the Washington, DC area! I take inspiration from my world around me, but more specifically from my weekly biking adventures around the Northern VA area. I work mostly in traditional mediums like ink, watercolor, and acrylic gouache, but enjoy playing with and mixing materials whenever the mood strikes. For example, my recent obsession at the moment is charcoal! Which is quite ironic given the fact that I hate getting my hands dirty.
